This realistic fiction book has been awarded a Newbery Honor and was a national book award finalist. The main characters are Mary Alice and Joey, these two kids from Chicago that visit their grandma every summer. This book is split Into different years with Mary Alice and Joey spending time with their grandma having crazy adventures. If you want to find out more about the adventures they have with their grandma read this book. Also, I gaveThis book five out of five stars because it’s a really good book and I recommend it to fourth grade and up.
